Honorary Members

What is a Barnes Honorary Member?

According to long time Hon Mems secretary, Alastair A.F. Britten, being elected an Honorary Member is an appreciation by Barnes CC of services rendered to the club over and above merely playing cricket at Lonsdale Rd.

Membership is by invitation of the cricket committee, is free of charge and provides eligibility for selection in the annual cricket match and invitation to the annual Honorary Members Dinner.

Unfortunately, it does not entitle an Hon Mem to unlimited free cricket at Lonsdale Road,as this would cripple most of our Hon Mems. Nor does it require a stonking donation to the club, however we would not look any gift horse in the mouth.
