Barnes CC is a friendly, competitive league club that puts out four sides each Saturday and a friendly side on Sundays, as well as mid-week games throughout the season. It is a vibrant and exciting place to play, practise and relax.
Barnes plays predominantly in the Middlesex league, with the 1s and 2s playing in the second division - but always looking for promotion. 2007 saw Barnes update its practice facilities with new nets and a coach. 2008 sees the launch of Barnes new colts section, bringing a family feel back to the club, as well as improvements to the square.
The club's location and its picturesque, if small, ground are its strengths. Barnes is the closest league club to central London, easily reached from Hammersmith, Putney and Shepherds Bush. As a result, there is always an antipodean flavour to the club, which adds fight on the pitch and spark in the bar.
Outdoor nets take place at the club on Wednesday evenings, and Sunday mornings, with coaching sessions on Monday evenings. All interested are welcome. See the NEWS page for up to date details.
